Members of the Brackman Trio are violinist Tim Brackman, cellist Kalle de Bie and pianist Rik Kuppen.

The Brackman Trio was founded in 2009. Due to their successful performances at various competitions and two CD recordings (2010 and 2012), the Brackman Trio soon found their way to the various concert stages in the Netherlands and abroad. The trio is now a much sought-after guest in various chamber music series and live radio programs on Radio 4. They also performed at festivals such as the Orlando Festival, the Stift Festival and the International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht (IKFU). Their performance during the IKFU 2020 was broadcast live by AVROTROS Radio.

Over the years, the trio has built up a broad repertoire, from early romantic to contemporary works. This resulted in frequent collaborations with composer Willem Jeths.

In addition to the concerts where they play by invitation, the members of the Brackman Trio also initiate projects and concerts themselves. In doing so, they like to collaborate with fellow musicians, resulting in, among other things, instrumentation such as piano quartet or piano trio with vocals or clarinet. In addition to their performances with the Brackman Trio, Rik, Tim and Kalle can also regularly be heard as soloists and chamber musicians in various ensembles.
